Programs 1890-1919.

This folder contains programs from performances and events held at the Boulder Chautauqua. The performers included the Russian Cossack Chorus, Ferullo and his band (in 1910), the Brandon Light Opera Company and Metropolitan Opera Company soprano Marie Rappold. This folder also contains the words to a new song, "The Chautauqua at Boulder," sung on 4 August 1906 by Larrimore's Gymnasium Chorus, and accompanied by Rischar's Orchestra. Louis Rischar wrote the music and (with Roger Imhof) the words to the song. Several of the programs are from events held at the Chautauqua grounds. These included the eighth annual Maccabee picnic for northern Colorado (in 1904), the Western Temperance Conference and Training School (in 1912) and the tenth and sixteenth annual banquets of the Chautauqua (in 1913 and 1919), and an undated program for concert and film dated July 5th.
